Oct 5, 2012 - We've been having some serious DNS problems that are causing problems with the pixiemud.org domain. The pixiemud.com domain is mostly working. Use pixiemud.com or mud.pixiemud.com to connect to the game.

Feb 18, 2008 - We've been experiencing a few pains after a server upgrade. Hopefully the patches of down time will be over soon.

July 2, 2007 - We've completed a major Mud driver upgrade. Please report any seemingly broken things to the admin!

In other news, travellers report that the Easter varmit is busy again littering the land with hidden eggs and treats. Travellers also report that the great western trade road through the Kingdom of Elcron is open. Finally, travellers report increased ogre and troll activity south of Dragonhold.

January 16, 2007 - Lots of new things: new currencies, riding and mounts, shielding allies, gambling houses, changes to advancement and more. See the notes on the Adventurers' Board.

November 18, 2006 - Minor driver upgrade. There will be a brief period of downtime during the changeover to the new driver.

January 27, 2006 - We expect some brief downtime on January 28 or 29 while the system is undergoing a minor upgrade.

October, 2005 - Happy Halloween! That crazy rabbit is at it again. This time he's in a Halloween mood. Grab a costume (Gerdie's on Elm has a big selection) and have fun!

March 3, 2005 - We've been experiencing Internet related problems this morning. Things seem to be settling down and getting back to normal at last. Hopefully our new routing and DNS information will propagate quickly.

Jan 16, 2005 - The system upgrade is complete. There was one side effect related to DNS. Our IP number has changed. The DNS changes for mud.pixiemud.org should have appeared in most places by now.

Jan 13, 2005 - A Major system upgrade is planned for the weekend of Jan. 15-16. We've advanced the schedule ahead by one week from the original notice. Hopefully the downtime won't be more than 24 hours. Stay tuned to this spot for additional information.

September 2003 - Ah September. A time when Fall is in the air and thoughts turn to school ... and to the fact the Mud has moved. We've been meaning to move the Mud for some time, but a recent spate of Network problems has encouraged us to bump up the move. We can now be found at: mud.pixiemud.org port 6789

Sept. 20, 2003 Update - You can now telnet to the standard telnet port, i.e. telnet mud.pixiemud.org (without the 6789). Port 6789 will continue to work.
